About.

My photo
Visual Journalism Student/ Photographer/Fashion Blogger. I love finding beauty where others don't, and I believe art can be found almost everywhere. Old and new, we can learn from all, and getting to a place where you can realize that is probably the most freeing a person can feel ever. But basically I love Fashion, and the designers are the artists with visions and their canvas' are us and the world, and I love helping spreading that message. "Ultimately isn't that fashion is about? We're all a bunch of big kids playing dress up." Feel free to e-mail me @ andrewwwhester@gmail.com to talk about anything!

Where the Wild Things Are.

OK.
Fashion is all about being fun and expressing yourself.
Let's get Wild.

2, scratch that 3 Designers that I think represent what people want in Fashion today are Christopher Kane & Donatella Versace.
With Collaborations all over the place these days, it is no surprise that this was bound to happen.
Donatella Versace has turns the reigns of her first design collection over to Christopher Kane, the Prince of the Fashion Jungle, if you will, to design the current looks.
Here's a video from the NYTimes Fashion section for a better look.
I mean, how can you go wrong after monkey and crocodile printed tees?!

QUALITY! :-)

Fashion LIVE and OnDemand.

I had the great opportunity to watch the BURBERRY SPRING 2010 show LIVE online yesterday when it aired at 1:30 P.M. Central U.S. time/6:30 P.M. London time. The webpage had a chat attached with a live feed that you could type your excitement and critique of the show before and during. It was probably one of the coolest things I have ever seen. Maybe this will catch on with more designers and before we know it,
we could be in the pit watching MARC JACOBS while sitting on our beds at home. :-)

Here are some of my favorite looks. From draped trenches TO skin tight draping dresses TO dress trenches or "drenches" if you may, the show was great.

I clearly do believe that Christopher Bailey could run out of luxurious materials and start using everyday materials and still makes things just as genius as he does with the fine quality of materials he uses at Burberry. He is a true Mastermind at work.

All Aboard.

JIMMY CHOO is collaborating with H & M.
This is old news by now because of it's looks being released about a week or two ago, but I still have to show my excitement. & to let everyone know that I will drive to the closest H & M in Atlanta to buy these boots.
Thanks.

NO, Now THIS is the Electric Feel.

PROENZA SCHOULER - SPRING 2010
I probably shouldn't say this, (type this, have it out there forever), BUT...Before this year, I had NO idea who they were, but I immediately fell in love. How could you NOT?!

This show was Simple with the shapes, but Outrageous with the NEON and Fringe.
& the SHOES (to ME) look glow in the dark and that they could defy gravity and walk the Moon, except with Wooden heels!
The Prints remind me of an Electric Zoo let loose to run wild at Fashion week, but once you see the looks below, you will realize what I meant by that as good...VERY good!

Dear Lazaro & Jack, PLEASE make Menswear. :-)
I'll be your Muse, and you can use me for whatever you want!!!

Out of the 57 looks from the MARC BY MARC show, there was not ONE look that I disliked.
Tribal & Modern Animal Art Prints, Neons, Studded Bags, and the Shoes, oh the SHOES!!
Here are my favorites, and there's A LOT of them!!!
