James Franco is a God. An all around God. Actor, Artist, Genius,...anyway.

He's covering Esquire's September 2o1o issue, (in Gucci, of course) and talking about acting, his art, General Hospital, what he's currently reading, which oddly enough is 'Twilight', and most importantly his upcoming film where he portrays Allen Ginsberg in 'HOWL'. (September 24 2010)

Is Blood the New Black?

I have recently been bitten by the HBO series True Blood, and I'm hooked. I am currently catching up to the point the season is at now, and I can't stop watching. Every time I have down time, I am watching. Which got me thinking...the Fashion of this show is so particular and has style of its own. Which also got the thinking...that a designer should do a True Blood inspired line. The outfits the characters have a relaxed and trendy feel. From the flirty dresses worn by Sookie Stackhouse, Anna Paquin's character on the show, Bill Compton's, Stephen Moyer, henleys, leather jackets, and jeans, and the continuous plaid button ups worn by her boss, Sam Merlotte, Sam Trammell, the show is always up to the latest in's and out's on the scene.

Vampire looks have been projected before and Twilight even has an inspired line of makeup coming this Fall.

The True Blood promotional pictures look like they could be a look book alone.

I remember reading "Where the Wild Things Are" when I was in Kindergarten and we would go to the library for our "reading" day when the librarian would read to us and we got to look for books to check out for the week. Never did I think that this book would become picked up and made into a movie and now an influence for a collaborated jewelry line.

Spike Jonze, the Director of "Where the Wild Things Are" The Film is collaborating with line, Opening Ceremony for a few pieces that are a bit 'wild', but the amount that's just right.

With wife Michelle Williams being the Chic chick that she is that I'm pretty sure she also had an influence on the pieces...or at least I hope so!

A New Poster for the GOSSIPGIRL Season 3 Premiere was recently released, yes, we're all drooling, OMG.

Apparently I have been in the dark about singer/songwriter CASSIE collaborating with the brand, DIMEPIECE, which makes me very sad because it looks insane...-ly AMAZING.

The prices are very reasonable (STORE LINK), and while looking around the website, there is a blog which features when Celebrities are photographed in the designs.
