It is Not a Love Story.

MY Review on :

(500) Days of Summer-

I know they say at the beginning of the movie that it is NOT a love story, but what was (500) Days of Summer really about? Was it just a movie to make us feel sorry Joseph Gordon-Levitt or was it a movie where you're suppose to hate Zooey Deschanel? The ending was clever, but not the way I wanted it to end. It really made me think about Zooey's character, Summer Finn, says at the end to Joseph Gordon-Levitt's character, Tom, that it is pretty much all about timing, and that she just woke up and knew that she had found what she didn't think she ever could find. This is sort of hopeful to some and heartbreaking to some as well. None the less, great cast, great soundtrack, and great wardrobe for a nice modern look on today's point of view on this twisted idea of Love that everyone has these days.

Good movie. Go see it. Even though I am sort of bias because Joseph and Zooey are two of my favorites, but still. Go!

Hilary Duff has finally been SPOTTED on the Gossip Girl set!

She will be playing a role in the fourth episode of the new season as a movie-star who decides to go NYU to get a "real-life" college experience.

Sort of sounds like her in real life. Hmm, We'll see what S thinks about her.

Alexander(s) the Great(s)

OK, this is a VERY random post, but I just passed across these AMAZING Alexander McQueen shoes, (first picture below)...and I have also been watching the movie Alexander featuring Colin Farrell for the past few days because I got the Director's Cut which is 3 1/2 hours long so I have been having to watch in intervals to complete it! I have to say it is worth the length of time sitting in front of the screen! & Conor Paolo from Gossip Girl plays the young Alexander so it's cool to see him starting his serious acting career in such a big film with a cast full of Hollywood's best known names.

I have been watching old re-runs of "Square Pegs" on Hulu off and on today. It's getting kind of pathetic. I will finish an episode and then start a new one. Too bad it only lasted one Season because I'm hooked. Sarah Jessica Parker is just as witty then as her recent Sex And The City days. I came across it on Hulu while I was browsing through shows to watch, and I remember my Mom telling me that she used to watch it so I decided to watch it. Now I'm hooked. Probably be buying the Complete Series on dvd ASAP!

Also there was another SHOE MENSWEAR watch today @ Men.Style so I have to talk about that. The shoes featured are from the Prada show, & I don't know how I feel about them other than I WOULD DEF. wear them. They sort of remind me of Crocs, but Chic/Prada Crocs with a bigger price tag and NOT Bozo the clown like.

MTV MOVIE AWARDS!!! - May 31, 2009!

Host : Andy Samberg, funny at times, but was sort of a mess. The jokes were either hit-or-miss...

Anyway, this year everything was definitely about the cast of "Twilight"

They won Best Movie, Best Kiss, Best Male Performance, Best Female Performance, and others. 

Bruno also made an appearance and 3-D Experience in Eminem's face as he was dropped from the ceiling into his lap!

LeAnn Rimes and Chris Issak also covered Andy Samberg's SNL Digital Short songs such as "Dick in a Box", "I Jizzed in My Pants", "The Chronic-ales" of Narnia", & "I'm on a Boat".

THEN Two of my FAVORITE people in the World presented an award together...Leighton Meester and Lil' Wayne. I almost died. I was glued to the television for the entire 5 minutes! Maybe a Leighton/Lil' collab. in the future for his or her album?! I CAN ONLY HOPE!!! 

Then there was the Red Carpet, which is at the beginning of the show, but since I'm tired of typing now, I'll add it in right here! 

These are my favorite picks,...Yes, they may a little bias, but whatever, they all do look great, right?! Exactly!!

Glee with "gLee".

"gLee", a new show starting this Fall on FOX is about a teacher who takes over the responsibilities of his school's Glee Club and gets a football player to look inside of himself and join the club and make it amazing. 

I watched the Pilot on Hulu this morning because I passed it on t.v. last night expecting it to be lame, but when I woke up and saw all the hype online, I figured I should give it a shot.

Glee has a great a cast so far, (including a cameo part on the football team by Justin Gaston, Miley Cyrus' boyfriend) and I have a feeling if viewers stay tuned and dedicated once it starts in the Fall then it could stick around for a while. Plus, it's an hour long---hopefully it will stay that way. I mean, a great teen-comedy/drama show for an hour every week. I don't think television could handle it since the cancellation of Popular. 

Update! : the creator of "Glee" also created "Popular". WOW. No wonder I like it so much. 

Popular ran from 1999-2001 & it was cancelled after only 2 seasons, and it aired when I was in Elementary school, but it was great, and I still CANNOT figure out why it was cancelled. 

At least it's on DVD! 

Anyway! WATCH the Pilot on Glee on HULU fast because it's only available for about 20 days!

MTV : the new IFC?

First, MTV presented Britney : For the Record, where she gave viewers an inside look into what her life is really like, and gave one of the first/complete interviews she's given in years. 

(now available on DVD.)

NOW, MTV plans to show Paris Hilton 

in her own documentary as well.

Planned to be shown on MTV this Summer.
